Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026
This policy explains what Vesper (“we,” operated by Carpenter Create LLC) collects, why, and your choices. It covers this site and the Vesper app.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address to let you know when Vesper launches. When you use the app, we collect your email to sign you in (via a magic link — Vesper has no passwords), and we store the cities you save, your preferences (units, voice), and the plans and questions you send to the Ask Vesper planner. We also collect basic, non-identifying usage information to keep the service running.
How we use it
To run the service and keep you informed: to notify waitlist members at launch, to sign you in, sync your cities across devices, and answer your planner questions. We use your email for sign-in and service or launch notices — not third-party marketing.
Weather & AI processing
Weather comes from Open-Meteo; only the coordinates or place you ask about are sent to fetch it. Planner questions are processed by Anthropic (Claude) to generate a grounded answer. Answers are grounded in real weather data; beyond 16 days Vesper shows typical conditions, clearly labeled — never presented as a forecast.
Storage & security
App data is stored with Supabase (Postgres), protected by owner-only row-level security so only you can read your rows. Waitlist contacts are managed in GoHighLevel. API keys for our providers are held server-side and never shipped to your browser.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the processors that run Vesper — Supabase (database and auth), Anthropic (planner), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), and GoHighLevel (waitlist and announcements) — solely to operate the service.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from waitlist and announcement emails at any time using the link in any message we send. In the app you can use Vesper signed out (your cities live only in your browser), and once signed in you can delete your account, which removes your saved cities, preferences, and plans.
Children
Vesper is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll post any changes here and update the date above; material changes will be noted in the app or by email.
Contact
Have a privacy question or want your waitlist email removed? Unsubscribe via any email we send, and once Vesper launches you'll be able to reach our support team directly for access and deletion requests.
